1/4 Mile Mayhem – 2023 NHRDA Desert Diesel Nationals

After a brief hiatus just prior to the Covid Outbreak, the NHRDA Drag Racing Circuit is Back! For a minute we werent sure the NHRDA would be back at all. But in the final months of 2022, it was announced the NHRDA would be back for the 2023 Season and I just can’t wait for the April 15th event, as the NHRDA kicks-off the 2023 Season. As usual I’ll have full access to get up close and personal with the Racers and their trucks. I’ll be posting more soon as we get closer to the event and videos and photos right after!

Although, we usually get posters sent to the shop every season, for us to post. It’s an event I like to have fun with and design our own posters for in-house display, our websites and social media accounts. Prior to the NHRDA shutting down, Strictly Diesel’s Co-Owner, Dennis Schroeder and several of our crew members raced every season. For 2023, It’s confirmed a few of our crew will be racing this year. But as of this post, we’re still not 100% sure Dennis will be in the mix, as he sold his racing truck during the shutdown and his new truck may not be ready in time.

In any event, as a nod to Dennis’s prior races and our invovlement with the NHRDA, I decided to do a mockup of a racing helmet with our logo as an overlay on a torn american flag and a reflection of a truck getting ready to launch.

That shot was actually taken by me at one of our previous NHRDA events and incidentally, that truck is currently in our shop getting some work done.

Will it be racing again in 2023? We’ll find out April 15th!
